ECOFLOW DELTA 2 Smart Extra Battery 1024Wh expansion battery

Increase your available energy storage with the Smart Extra Battery, a 1024Wh expansion battery designed for a compatible DELTA 2 portable power station. It provides additional capacity for users who want longer runtime without replacing their existing power equipment. This makes it suitable for home backup, camping, and travel.

When connected to the supported power station, the Smart Extra Battery allows the system to store more energy. A DELTA 2 unit with its original 1024Wh capacity can reach a combined capacity of 2048Wh with one compatible extra battery. This additional reserve may help power supported devices for longer, depending on their energy consumption and the available charge.

The battery uses LiFePO4 cell chemistry, which is known for durability and a long cycle life. Under specified conditions, it is rated for approximately 3000 cycles before retaining 80 percent of its original capacity. To support long-term performance, follow the recommended charging, storage, and temperature guidance in the official manual.

The Smart Extra Battery is designed to connect through a dedicated expansion cable. This setup keeps the battery integrated with the compatible power station, allowing the system to charge and discharge as intended. The battery itself is not a separate power station, so it should not be treated as an independent source with built-in AC sockets.

For emergency preparation, added capacity can be helpful during a power interruption. It can also support longer trips where charging opportunities are limited. Solar charging may be available through the connected power station when the full system supports the selected solar input. Charging speed and runtime vary with sunlight, connected loads, and operating conditions.

The unit has a practical enclosure for placement with compatible equipment. Handle it carefully and keep it away from moisture, heat sources, and corrosive environments. Store it in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area. For safe operation, always use the correct cable and check compatibility before making a connection.

Turn off the power station and expansion battery before connecting or disconnecting them. Do not unplug the cable while the system is charging or supplying power. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for maintenance and storage.

Overall, the Smart Extra Battery is a useful expansion option for users who need more stored energy in a compatible portable power setup. It offers a simple way to increase capacity for home backup and outdoor use while keeping the existing power station at the center of the system when practical.
