Refund And Returns Policy
At LUMETT Solar & Renewable Energy Solutions Company Ltd, we are committed to providing high-quality solar systems, inverters, lithium batteries, solar panels, and renewable energy products across Nigeria. Customer satisfaction is our priority, and we strive to ensure that every product delivered meets our strict quality standards. However, if for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, our Refund & Returns Policy is designed to offer a clear, fair, and transparent process. This policy applies to all products including PV solar panels, inverters, batteries, solar generators, solar lighting systems, and other renewable energy equipment purchased from our company.
Eligibility for Returns
We accept returns on eligible products within 3 days of delivery, provided that the product meets the required return conditions. To qualify for a return, the item must be unused, in its original condition, and returned in its original packaging with all accessories, manuals, and documentation intact.
Products that have been installed, used, altered, or damaged after delivery are not eligible for return, except in cases of verified manufacturing defects. Customers are advised to thoroughly inspect all products upon delivery and report any issues immediately.
Non-Returnable Items
Certain items are not eligible for return due to the nature of the product or usage conditions. These include:
Installed solar systems or customized solar packages
Used batteries or products with broken seals
Special order or custom-configured equipment
Software, monitoring devices, or activated systems
Products damaged due to improper installation or handling
Damaged or Defective Products
If you receive a defective or damaged product, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery. Our technical team will assess the issue and may request photos, videos, or physical inspection to verify the claim.
Where a manufacturing defect is confirmed, we will offer one of the following solutions:
Replacement of the product
Repair under manufacturer warranty
Exchange for a similar product of equal value
Refund Policy
Refunds are only processed under specific conditions where a return has been approved and the product has been received and inspected by our team.
Approved refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days and will be issued via the original payment method or bank transfer. Please note that:
Delivery and logistics charges are non-refundable
Refunds may be subject to administrative or restocking fees
Partial refunds may apply if items are returned incomplete or damaged
Order Cancellation Policy
Orders can be canceled within 24 hours of payment, provided that the order has not been processed, shipped, or installed.
Once an order has been dispatched or installation has commenced, cancellation may not be possible or may attract cancellation charges.
Exchange Policy
We offer product exchanges where applicable, subject to availability and approval. Customers requesting an exchange must ensure the product meets the return eligibility criteria. Any price difference between exchanged items must be settled accordingly.
Return Process
To initiate a return, customers must follow these steps:

Provide proof of purchase (invoice or receipt)
Describe the issue with supporting evidence if applicable
Await return approval and instructions from our team
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to a verified defect or company error.
Warranty Coverage
Most of our products, including solar panels, inverters, and batteries, are covered by manufacturer warranties. Warranty claims are handled in accordance with the manufacturer’s terms and conditions.
LUMETT Solar will assist customers in processing warranty claims but is not responsible for warranty limitations imposed by manufacturers.
