SMS SUNMATE SMS-10.2KVA-48V Hybrid Inverter 160A solar charger

The SUNMATE Hybrid ISMS-10.2KVA-48V offers an option for users planning a solar energy system. Its 48V battery configuration and built-in 160A MPPT solar charger help manage energy from compatible solar panels, batteries, and utility input. As a result, it can support flexible power planning for homes and businesses.

Make Better Use of Sunlight

Solar panels generate electricity during daylight, but their output changes with weather and sun exposure. The integrated MPPT charger helps manage the energy collected from connected panels and directs suitable power toward battery charging. To achieve reliable results, the solar array must follow the inverter’s permitted voltage, current, and power limits.

High-Capacity Output

With a 10.2KVA class rating, this inverter is designed for installations with higher electricity requirements. It can operate compatible loads within its specified limits. However, users should list their appliances and calculate combined demand before installation. Equipment such as pumps, refrigerators, and air conditioners can require extra starting power beyond their normal running consumption.

48V Battery Energy Storage

A compatible 48V battery bank can store available energy for later use. This may help supply selected loads when solar generation drops or the grid is unavailable. Backup duration depends on battery capacity, condition, inverter efficiency, and connected appliances. Check the manual for approved battery types, voltage range, and recommended charging settings.

Flexible Power Source Management

The inverter can coordinate available energy sources according to its supported operating modes. During the day, solar energy may power connected equipment while charging the battery. When solar output decreases, the system may use stored energy or utility input, depending on its configuration.

Installation and Product Checks

For dependable performance, select compatible solar panels, batteries, cables, and circuit protection. Ensure that all electrical connections follow the manufacturer’s instructions. A qualified installer should check grounding, ventilation, wiring, and load requirements before switching on the system.

Before buying, ask your supplier to confirm the exact model specifications and warranty. Verify the 160A solar charging rating, maximum PV voltage, solar input range, rated output, and battery compatibility using the official datasheet.

In summary, the SMS-10.2KVA-48V combines high-capacity power management with a 48V battery system and MPPT solar charging. It provides a flexible foundation for a planned solar installation at home or work.
